DALIAN: In August 2021, China's mung bean export volume was 3,156.08 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 37.61% In August 2021, China's mung bean exports amounted to 3,156.08 tons, decreasing 37.61% month-on-month and 28.13% year-on-year. In August, my country's mung bean exports totalled US$6,254,976.00, with an average price of US$1981.88/ton. From January to August, the cumulative export volume of mung beans was 62,757.093 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 19.26%. From the perspective of exporting countries in August, Japan, the United States, and South Korea are the top three exporting countries. Among them, 771.724 tons were exported to Japan, accounting for 24.45% in the current period; 535.898 tons were shipped to the United States, accounting for 16.98% in the current period; 403 tons were exported to South Korea, accounting for 12.77% in the current period. The price of domestic mung beans has risen sharply, mainly due to the severe shortage of old grains and the delay of new grains on the market. The export FOB price is 1.740-1.800 US dollars per ton.
