There Is a Strong Possibility of Further Growth in Fenugreek
Instead of increasing, the arrival of fenugreek is decreasing due to the quick news of producer markets. At the same time, the goods of small traders have been cut at low prices. Very little old stock is left in the wholesale shops this time, so the trend is gradually increasing. In the next month, there are chances of further increase.
Current Scenario
Fenugreek seeds have become higher than the wholesale shops of Rajasthan. Notably, fenugreek is produced in most of the states of North India, but 80 percent of fenugreek is produced mainly in Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh for the country's consumption.
There has been a decrease of about 10-11% in the production area of fenugreek because the farmers have done more sowing of coriander and cumin, which have started arriving at this time. New fenugreek has come in the Neemuch Mandsaur Javra line of Madhya Pradesh.
Demand increased due to the decreased arrivals and less stock in the local grocery markets
The demand for Ayurvedic companies has also increased from MP and Rajasthan. This is due to decreased arrivals from producer shops and significantly less stock in the local grocery market. People from Maharashtra and Punjab buy goods from Rajasthan's Pratapgarh, Jaipur line. People from Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka have also purchased some goods.
Because of the low arrivals in Indian markets, the trend for Fenugreek prices is expected to remain strong over the next week. To conclude, experts opine that traders' buying sentiments could stay positive and support the prices of Fenugreek during this week.
The fenugreek seeds 99 prices were recorded at $0,83 per kg FOB.
