
Indian Spices Export May Report
Spice exports from India have experienced a decline in quantity, down by 9% from April 2022 to February 2023, the financial year 2022-23. However, there has been a slight increase of 5% in value, as per the data released by the Spices Board.Â
In terms of financials, the country has earned $3,874.39 million from spice exports during the first eleven months of the financial year 2022-23. A total of 12,57,615 tonnes of spices were exported during this period, compared to 13,84,209 tonnes the previous year, resulting in a 9% decrease in quantity. However, the value of exports increased marginally by 5%.
