
Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation Announces Sesame Tender
The most awaited tender is finally out now This tender was to be announced earlier in the first week of July but got delayed and is announced today on 18th July 2023.
The tender is 8100 metric tonnes and is divided into three parts. Bid number AT2605-SI-23(778) offers a quantity of 4,500 M/T of Sesame Seed (General Quality, PP Bag). The second commodity invitation number is AT2606-SI-23(779), with 1,800 M/T of Sesame Seed (General Quality, Palletizing). And the third is AT2607-51-23(780)Ā brings you 1,800 M/T of Sesame Seed. The bidding date for all three commodities is 1st August 2023, from 10:00 to 11:00 KST. However, the arrivals of all three shipments will vary, with the first shipment expected to reach at Busan port on 13th October 2023, the second shipment on 27th October 2023 and the third and final shipment on 10th November 2023 respectively.
As predicted earlier the sesame market will temporarily see a stable-bullish rally due to the tender announcement. And India may likely get its share of tender as the production of sesame is good and thus, it may affect the sesame market.
