Raisin Prices Continue to Rise Despite Record Levels; Türkiye's Export Demand Surges
After a 10-day long holiday, raisins started the week with a rise and continue to rise. Prices continue at record levels. Despite this, exports increased on a country-by-country basis this season. While raisin exports from Türkiye to Australia increased by 99% from 9.4 million dollars to 18.8 million dollars, exports to Japan increased by 72% from 9.7 million dollars to 17.2 million dollars. Exports to Canada increased by 49% compared to last season's figures, reaching 13.4 million dollars. These figures show that buyer countries prefer Turkish grapes in terms of quality, even though the prices are high.
Last week, exports were 3850 tons and the average price was 2650 dollars.
