Stagnation in the dried fig market

We can't say that there has been much change in the dried fig market in Türkiye between last week and this week.There is not much change in dried figs since last week. Prices continue at the same levels. Farmers are preparing for the new season with the little stock they have left. As the season was about to end and there were no products of the quality available to European buyers, the exporters turned to the Middle East and Russian markets.

The fact that the weather conditions are normal for the new season's harvest is an indication that the harvest will be good in terms of quantity and quality this year. With this, we can say that raw material prices will be at normal levels in the new season. However, it would be premature to determine the crop amount before July temperatures are experienced.
