Raisin Prices Remain High Amid Yield Uncertainty and Market Optimism for New Season
The price increase in raisins continues despite the end of the season. Although it is not known exactly how the adverse weather conditions experienced in Türkiye so far will affect the new yield, producers do not want the prices to decrease as the predictions that the yield will be low are widespread among farmers. They want to start the new season with 3 dollars/kg. Predictions will become clear in mid-July.
Selling high amounts of raisins to the Japanese market as well as the European market this year will cause exporters to start the new season a little more hopeful.

Raisins: The average selling price of 4000 tons of raisins in the week of June 15, 2024 was 2842 USD, with a decrease of 1600 tons compared to the same week last year.
