Ukraine's Grain and Leguminous Exports Rise by 3.7% in 2023/2024 Season

As of June 19, in 2023/2024, Ukraine exported 49 million 274 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops. This is 1 million 784 thousand tons or 3.7% more than last year.

This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

The export of Ukrainian wheat is 18 milyon tons. The increase is 1 million 769 thousand tons or 10.8% more than last year.

Ukrainian farmers also exported 2 million 461 thousand tons of barley and 1.6 thousand tons of rye.

The export of Ukrainian corn amounted to 28 million 192 thousand tons. This is only 7 thousand tons more than last year. But  the first time since the beginning of the marketing year, the pace of grain exports exceeded last year indicators.

In addition, 96.3 thousand tons of flour (or 128.4 thousand tons in terms of grain) were sent abroad, which is 51.0 thousand tons, or almost 53% less than last year.
