Dried apricot farmers in Türkiye continue their protests that they started at the beginning of the month. The constant decrease in prices in the past months has made farmers very angry and they want TMO to buy at a high price as soon as possible and to compensate for their losses. There has been no action from the other side yet, but the issue is frequently brought up in the parliament.

Although TMO has not yet announced that it will make purchases, the fact that the TMO president visited Malatya has increased the farmers' positive expectations. Everyone expects a response from TMO soon. For this reason, market prices are still uncertain and farmers are not selling products unless it is necessary.
