According to APK-Inform, since the beginning of September 2024, prices for crude sunflower oil showed increasing trend in Ukraine. This trend is due to active demand for the product against the background of limited offers.

As of September 5, 2024, demand prices for sunflower oil reach 930 USD/t CPT-port. This is 10 USD/t higher than similar prices announced at the end of August.

It should be noted that according to the results of August 2024, sunflower oil exports amounted to only 227 thousand tons. This is 48% lower than the July figure and became the smallest month volume since June 2022.
