Tianjin –Feedback from market participants indicates that new season lentils are being successfully exported, with market prices being accepted and customers satisfied with the quality of the new stock. However, due to a decline in lentil planting areas in recent years and lower production levels, prices are expected to rise in the near future.

Current FOB Prices for Lentils

• Organic lentils in Tianjin and Dalian are priced between $1,480 and $1,510 per tonne
• Conventional lentils are priced at $1,430 to $1,460 per tonne.
