Wheat: Prices Under Pressure, But Russian Drought Remains a Risk
Wheat markets are currently under pressure. Euronext wheat futures for December dropped by €0.25 to €228.75 per tonne, while the December contract at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBoT) fell by 13.75 ct/bu to 585.25 ct/bu, equivalent to €197 per tonne. Improved weather conditions in the U.S. and Russia are weighing on prices, though Russia's persistent drought remains a risk for planting and future yields.
