Sunflower seed prices in Ukraine have reached new highs, with processors paying up to €523 per tonne. Due to high prices and a 10% export duty, export opportunities are limited. Many farmers are holding back supplies, expecting prices to rise further.

With farmers withholding stock and rising oil exports, the sunflower seed market could face additional price increases in the coming months.
