Sunflower seed prices rose to €506 - €543/t, supported by high export prices for sunflower oil. Despite the ongoing harvest, many farmers are holding back their crops in hopes of higher prices.

High prices are likely to continue as limited supply and farmer withholding put pressure on processors.
