Innovations in hybrid development now ensure oleic levels of 88-92%, reducing the need for stringent isolation previously required to prevent cross-pollination.

The market for high-oleic sunflower oil is expected to remain strong due to its health benefits and the global shift towards healthier oils. Farmers are adapting well to the demands for higher quality, though disruptions in operations occasionally pause factory purchases. As 2025 approaches, the focus on grain crops might overshadow oilseeds, yet if the premium remains favorable, sunflower cultivation, particularly high-oleic varieties, will likely prosper.
