2024-25 marketing year. Even as total grain shipments have dropped compared to last year. According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, total grain and legume exports have reached

Flour Exports Also Decline
Flour shipments have also dropped significantly. Ukraine exported
51,000 tonnes of flour, which equals
68,000 tonnes in grain terms, marking a
1.51 times drop (
26,200 tonnes lower) than the previous year.
Key Factors Behind the Drop in Exports
The decline in total grain exports is mainly due to:
- Ongoing geopolitical tensions affecting transport routes.
- Infrastructure challenges slowing shipments.
- Lower global demand, especially for Ukrainian corn and wheat exports.
Even with these setbacks, Ukraine remains a key supplier to major importers in
Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Analysts believe that if logistics improve and demand rebounds, export volumes could pick up in the coming months.
